In clients' own words

Bangkok, collector

I brought in my grandfather's Omega that hadn't run in about fifteen years. Before committing to anything, they gave me a full written report of what the movement needed and what it would cost. That alone was worth the assessment fee. The restoration took around six weeks and the written record I received at collection was genuinely impressive — you could tell the piece had been treated with some care.

Came in for a strap fitting on a Seiko — simple enough job but handled well. They matched the width exactly and checked the fit carefully before I left. The only reason I haven't given five stars is that I had to wait about a week for an appointment, but I understand they operate by booking only. Worth planning ahead for.

My Longines was losing about four minutes a day. I'd taken it to two other places and neither gave me any real explanation beyond "it needs a service." Here they actually showed me the diagnostic report and explained what was happening with the balance staff. I left knowing what had been done and why. That kind of transparency is not common.

Expat, Bangkok

As an expat, finding a watch repairer you can actually trust has been difficult. This workshop runs entirely in English if needed, communicates clearly, and doesn't make you feel like you're being talked around. I've had two assessments done here now and both times I received a clear written estimate before deciding anything. That's the standard I want.

My mother's Tissot had been sitting in a drawer since the 1980s. I wasn't sure whether it was worth restoring or even whether restoration was the right word for what it needed. The assessment answered both questions. In the end I chose not to proceed with full restoration — the cost exceeded what the piece warranted — and that was fine with them. No pressure, just honest information.

Rattana Buakaew

Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Brought in two watches — a daily driver for a strap swap and an older piece for a diagnostic. Both done properly, both handed back with documentation. The strap fitting was quick (back same afternoon) and the assessment took about four days. Good communication throughout. Reasonable pricing for Bangkok.

Case Studies

Three watches, three different stories

Case Study 01 — Vintage Restoration

The Challenge

A 1968 Swiss manual-wind dress watch had stopped completely and showed signs of moisture ingress. The owner wanted to return it to occasional wear without altering its original appearance.

Our Approach

Full movement disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, mainspring replacement with a period-matched part, and case cleaning without polishing. Owner consulted before each decision point. Timeline: 8 weeks.

The Outcome

Watch returned to reliable timekeeping within ±12 seconds per day. Original dial, hands, and case finish preserved intact. Owner received a four-page documented record of the work.

"I didn't want it looking new. I wanted it running — and they understood that without me having to explain it twice."

Case Study 02 — Assessment Only

The Challenge

A modern automatic had been serviced elsewhere six months prior but was still gaining time unpredictably. The owner was unsure whether a second service was warranted or whether the previous work was incomplete.

Our Approach

Diagnostic assessment revealed a loose regulator pin — a minor issue not requiring a full service. A written report was provided. The owner was given the option to proceed or to take the report elsewhere.

The Outcome

Regulator adjustment completed. Watch returned to normal rate. Total cost: assessment fee only. Owner did not need a second full service — something the assessment confirmed before any unnecessary spend occurred.

"They told me I didn't need the expensive work. That kind of honesty is rare."
